About the Role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
Preparation and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with manufacturer and TGA standards
IV cannulation and administration of prescribed radiopharmaceuticals
Ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
Collaborating closely with radiologists, referrers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Contributing to the development and success of a newly established PET/Nuclear Medicine service
About You
Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Qualification and accreditation in Diagnostic CT
Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
PET/CT experience
Radiopharmaceutical preparation experience
IV cannulation experience
