As we continue to grow, strong and sustainable risk management remains central to how we support our customers, communities and business performance We're seeking an experienced and influential Head of Credit Risk to lead the Group's credit risk function and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our lending portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this role provides enterprise-wide leadership, oversight and independent challenge across consumer, commercial, broker, private banking, equipment finance and specialised lending portfolios. As the organisation's senior credit risk leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring our lending activities remain aligned with Board-approved risk appetite, regulatory obligations and customer outcome expectations. You'll partner closely with Executive leaders, governance committees and key stakeholders to provide strategic insight, expert advice and forward-looking perspectives on portfolio performance, emerging risks and growth opportunities. This is a role for someone who thrives on balancing commercial outcomes with prudent risk management. You'll lead the ongoing evolution of our credit risk framework, lending policies and delegated authority arrangements, while ensuring the business is well positioned to respond to changing market conditions, regulatory developments and customer needs. You'll play an important role in shaping the future of credit risk at MyState, contributing to strategic transformation initiatives, technology enhancements and the continued development of risk capability across the business. Alongside leading a high-performing team, you'll foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, helping to build strong risk awareness and credit expertise throughout the organisation. To be successful in this role, you'll bring significant experience in senior credit risk leadership within banking or financial services. You'll have a strong track record across credit risk frameworks, lending policy, portfolio oversight, governance and assurance, coupled with a deep understanding of prudential regulation and responsible lending obligations. Most importantly, you'll be a trusted adviser and collaborative leader, capable of providing robust challenge while building strong relationships with stakeholders at every level, including Executive and Board audiences.
