You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the Australia Maintenance Support-105AU of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. Employee's initial pay and compensation will be based upon their current duty station and/or residence as determined by the employing activity. ***See Additional Information section below for details***Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and conducting training programs (i.e. for management, engineering, radiological control personnel, nuclear workers, or general shipyard employees and visitors) to fulfill training requirements; knowledge of naval nuclear propulsion systems and the Shipyard Radiological Control Program; determining course of action required to resolve anticipated technical radiological problems and ensuring that established radiological control procedures and practices are strictly adhered to; planning, directing, distributing and balancing workload amongst subordinates to support and minimize impact to assigned projects.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

This position may require working overtime, rotational shifts, weekends, holidays, or off shifts.
