What you'll be doing
As a Network Services Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the network infrastructure that underpins clinical and business services across Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts. You will provide expert technical support, troubleshoot complex network issues, lead infrastructure improvements, and contribute to the delivery of strategic digital health initiatives in a large and diverse healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing
As a Network Services Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the network infrastructure that underpins clinical and business services across Northern Sydney and Central Coast Local Health Districts. You will provide expert technical support, troubleshoot complex network issues, lead infrastructure improvements, and contribute to the delivery of strategic digital health initiatives in a large and diverse healthcare environment.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Detailed knowledge of complex network environments conducting fault diagnosis tasks with an understanding of server technologies and concepts.
- Extensive experience with Cisco network routers, switches, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), firewalls, and Cisco ISE technologies. Demonstrated expertise in configuring and implementing Cisco switches, routers, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA/Firepower Firewalls, Access Lists, and IPSEC-based VPNs.
- Good knowledge of Layer 2, 3, and 4 Cisco Switching implementations and the operation of network analysis equipment with good skill in interpreting packet traces to assist in fault diagnoses and resolution. Additional - CCNA and CCNP certifications and/or additional industry-based certifications or equivalent relevant experience with experience in DNAC.SDA/Fabric.
