Description

Are you a veterinarian looking for a supportive, team-focused environment?

This is a Part-time position for a veterinarian who values both patient care and team contribution. Full-time can be considered and we're happy to discuss what best suits you & the clinic.

This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on veterinary practice within a supportive team environment that values collaboration, compassion, and shared success.

This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion within the team - a true reflection of the growth and development we're proud to foster.

We are now looking for a new Associate Veterinarian who understands that great clinical outcomes start with a supported, inspired, and well-connected team. Someone who enjoys contributing to a positive culture, sharing knowledge, and creating an environment where both pets and people feel safe, valued, and well cared for.

If you love the idea of working in a collaborative setting, delivering high clinical standards, and continuing to grow your skills, this could be your next career home.

About Us:

Mornington Peninsula Vet Care is the pinnacle of exposure in the veterinary general practice space, minus the overwhelm of actually working in the emergency space.

Our Mornington Peninsula Vet Care clinic is a purpose-built space supported by an exceptional team, from passionate surgery-focused nurses to a dedicated client care crew and an experienced practice manager who keeps the day running smoothly.

Working alongside our Emergency and Referral Hospital (next door) means you'll have specialists, emergency vets, and advanced diagnostic tools close at hand, creating a collaborative environment focused on the best patient outcomes.

You'll enjoy the energy of a hospital-style setting while still working within a structured GP clinic. As part of Peninsula Vet Care's network of five clinics, you'll be joining the region's largest veterinary provider. Our other four GP clinics are based in Rye, Rosebud, Dromana & Mt Eliza (If any of these locations are of interest - we're open to discussing the options).

Located in the heart of Mornington, you'll have beaches, wineries, cafes, markets, and walking spots at your doorstep. Even from our industrial-estate location, you're surrounded by great coffee, lunch spots, gyms, and shops - perfect for creating a balanced lifestyle.

Why else you'll love working here:

  • Flexible working arrangements

  • You'll be very lucky to have a supportive Lead Vet, Practice Manager, Business Manager & Vet Manager to have around or reach out too.
  • Work with a collaborative GP, emergency, and referral team with no on call

  • Manage diverse and interesting small animal cases

  • Enjoy professional development and training opportunities

  • Equipment & tools: If there's specific equipment that would support your clinical interests or specialty, let's chat - we're always open to investing in the right tools

  • If you are not located in Victoria already, we're offering up to $10,000 relocation allowance to help you make the move to one of Victoria's most picturesque coastal locations, where the balance between rewarding work and relaxed coastal living truly exists.

About You:

You align with our purpose to love our pets and all those who care for them and you live our values: Integrity, Excellence, Community and Care.

  • Thrives in a team environment

  • Enjoys contributing to a positive clinic culture

  • Is passionate about gold standards of companion animal care

  • Builds strong relationships with clients and the local community

  • Is open to learning, collaboration, and continuous development

  • Hold full registration with the Australian Vet Board

  • Has a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience

Other perks and benefits for you:
