The Role Join Brisbane City Council's Visitor Experience team and become the friendly face of the iconic Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. In this rewarding role, you'll welcome thousands of visitors each year, provide expert information, answer enquiries, and help create memorable experiences for locals, tourists, and community members exploring one of Brisbane's most popular destinations. No two days are the same as you engage with a diverse range of visitors, support promotional activities across the Mt Coot-tha precinct, and contribute to a collaborative and customer-focused team. This role operates on a rotating 7-day roster. Candidates must be available to work weekends and some public holidays. The Mt Coot-tha Visitor Centre operates year-round and is closed only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Full training will be provided, including First Aid and CPR certification. To be successful you will have: proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a customer-facing environment strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of people excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle enquiries, requests and complaints with professionalism demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail confidence using computer systems and administrative software, with strong keyboard and data entry skills experience in responding to and managing first aid incidents in a professional environment.
