Apply Job no: 9639R Own budgets, forecasts, month-end, and improvement initiatives Navigate fast-moving priorities alongside OneDigital's leaders Equip your stakeholders with sharp analysis and reporting About the team Our Group Accounting team is responsible for the consolidation and analysis of Wesfarmers Group accounts, management and improvement of finance systems, accounting and taxation matters for the Corporate Office and OneDigital as well as providing a source of expertise for the Wesfarmers Group. About you To be successful in this role, you will be an independent, proactive finance professional who takes ownership. What you'll do Drawn to the forward-looking work of budgeting, forecasting and planning, you will step into an impactful role at the heart of our OneDigital business. Partner with leaders across the OneDigital business to deliver accurate and timely financial insights, management reporting, budgeting and long-term planning, helping drive informed decision-making and business performance. Reporting to our Team Leader, Finance Business Partnering - OneDigital, you will take primary responsibility for the following: Annual budgeting process: drive the development of a bottom-up consolidated budget for applicable OneDigital cost centres Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships: provide visibility and insight into performance, delivery of budget and financial decision making Prepare month-end and forecasting activities: work collaboratively with the OneDigital Financial Control team to deliver key month-end tasks Proactively identify risks and opportunities: hold stakeholders to account on performance Develop insightful performance reporting: produce and present regular reports to monitor business performance against objectives Drive value-add initiatives: seek out process improvement, leverage AI to increase efficiency and quality of outputs in line with best practice Uphold the Wesfarmers values: embed the Wesfarmers Way into your daily practices and ensure a safe working environment What you'll need Tertiary qualifications in commerce or accounting CA or CPA qualification Significant, demonstrated success across finance business partnering, forecasting and budgeting and management accounting Ideally a background in Digital, Technology, Retail or Consumer Goods Hands-on experience in commercial and financial modelling A sharp, detail-driven, analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving ability Strong written and verbal communication, with the interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders A solid working knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise across competing demands The ability to identify and build AI automations that improve process efficiency About Wesfarmers As one of Australia's largest listed companies, we're proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
