We are currently seeking a Signalling Site Engineer to join the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGCFR) Project, a transformative rail infrastructure program that will redefine passenger rail travel between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Delivered by the ActivUs Alliance, this landmark project will expand the rail corridor from two to four tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh, while delivering major station upgrades, enhanced signalling systems and improved network capacity for South East Queensland.

The Opportunity

As a Signalling Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, review and delivery of signalling works on one of Queensland's largest rail infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced signalling professionals, project engineers and stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex rail systems in a collaborative project environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide signalling engineering expertise throughout the design and delivery phases of the project.

  • Support the development, review and implementation of signalling designs and engineering solutions.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, identifying risks, constructability opportunities and technical improvements.

  • Liaise with Project Managers, designers, construction teams and key stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules and technical requirements are achieved.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during design development and delivery.

  • Assist in ensuring signalling works comply with client, industry and safety standards.

  • Support the resolution of technical issues throughout project execution.

About You

You are a motivated rail signalling professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and further develop your career within a leading engineering and construction organisation.

  • Degree qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Systems or related discipline).

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the rail signalling industry.

  • Experience working on rail infrastructure, signalling design, commissioning, construction or maintenance projects.

  • Ability to review signalling design documentation and provide practical constructability and delivery-focused input.

  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
