What you'll be doing
As the CSSD Site Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the Sterilising Services Unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality sterilising services that support hospital-wide clinical operations. You will oversee service planning, compliance, asset management, workforce leadership and continuous quality improvement while ensuring adherence to Australian Standards and NSW Health requirements.
Manage the day-to-day operations of CSSD, ensuring timely delivery of sterile equipment and instruments.
Lead, mentor and develop staff while fostering a positive, safe and high-performing workplace culture.
Drive compliance with AS/NZS 4187, accreditation standards and NSW Health policies.
Oversee equipment, asset and maintenance management to maximise operational efficiency and minimise service disruptions.
Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to strengthen service delivery, quality improvement and patient safety.

Health Services Assistance sterilisation services certificate and/or relevant experience in a hospital setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well, negotiate and influence.
Team management experience particularly in change management, staff management and financial resource management.
The ability to work independently, to prioritise and meet deadlines and to engage key stakeholders to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
Solid computer proficiency in Microsoft and healthcare software.
Capacity to identify operational issues, analyse data, and implement effective solutions to enhance operational processes.
Demonstrated dedication to ongoing learning and development, both personally and within the team.
Ability to navigate and manage change effectively, maintaining performance and service quality in dynamic healthcare environments.
