We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager to join our team at the Wahgunyah site on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and management of Integrated Facilities Management services, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations across the site.

As the on-site lead, you will work closely with the client, contractors, service partners and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

A snapshot of what you will do:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of all Facilities Management services within the contracted scope.
  • Oversee building infrastructure, utilities, workplace facilities, grounds, cleaning, waste management and other soft services.
  • Manage service contracts including cleaning, security, catering, pest control, fire systems, HVAC, grounds maintenance, uniforms and other site services.
  • Lead facilities and minor project activities from planning through to completion.
  • Take overall responsibility for site budgets, financial performance, forecasting and reporting.
  • Direct, manage and develop ISS employees and service providers to achieve contractual KPIs and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and service delivery excellence.
  • Develop and present regular operational and performance reports to the client and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage contractor performance and service provider compliance to maximise value and service outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement industry best-practice facilities management processes.
  • Support site business planning, objective setting and operational strategy execution.

What will you possess to be successful?

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Property, Business, Facilities Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience managing Facilities Management services in a complex operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of technical and hard services, including building systems and maintenance operations.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing contractors, service providers and facilities supply chains.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and account management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
  • Project management experience with a track record of successfully delivering operational improvements.
  • Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, organisational and report-writing capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing business environment.

Desirable experience:

  • FM experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • NABERS qualifications or relevant sustainability experience.
  • Strong understanding of integrated facilities services and asset management principles.
