Googong High School is a new and exciting school due to open in 2027. It is a co-educational secondary school located in a rapidly growing community of Googong in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. Googong High School is located on Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country. The site is approximately 5.4 hectares. The school will provide a modern, innovative learning environment initially supporting students in Years 7 and 8, expanding incrementally to Years 7-12. With an anticipated enrolment of approximately 750 students with possible future expansion, Googong High School reflects a diverse and inclusive community.

About the Role

This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools. To be successful in the role you will need to have good planning and prioritising skills and good communication skills to work effectively with others. You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of a Departmental School/grounds.

The role may assist with the set up and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities. You will identify and report maintenance and safety issues. You will receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment and report faults. All duties are performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
