In the beautiful seaside suburb of Bondi, an older lady is hoping to find something many of us value deeply-friendship, connection, and someone to share life's simple moments with.<\/b>

Living on her own, her days can sometimes feel a little quiet. She would love a volunteer visitor to spend an hour together each week, sharing conversation, companionship, and the comfort of having a friendly face to look forward to.
<\/p>\n

Music has always been close to her heart. She enjoys playing the piano, listening to classical music, and spending time knitting. A relaxed chat over a cuppa and sharing stories from life would make her day that much brighter.
<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity to slow down, connect, and make a genuine difference in someone's life. Whether you're listening to a favourite piece of music, admiring a knitting project, or simply enjoying a conversation together, your presence could help turn a lonely day into a meaningful one.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

\n 18 years or older National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

\n We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
