Manager - ANZP Property HR Services (Part-time Contractual)
Summary:
The Manager HR Services Property role is responsible for leading and managing strategic HR initiatives and special projects that align with the organization's goals. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for the HR team, providing guidance and answers to HR-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Lead and oversee special HR projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Strategic HR Initiatives:Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives. Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Property HR Team Support:Act as the go-to person for the property HR team, providing expert advice and solutions to HR-related issues. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the HR department.
- Policy Development:Create and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Talent Management: Onboarding of HR talent and on-going training and support to drive high performance.
- Data Analysis:Utilize HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
- Pre-Opening Hotel Guidance:Provide comprehensive guidance for pre-opening hotels, ensuring all critical path items are completed. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely opening.
- Associate Relations: Support the Senior Director of HR on property investigations, including conducting investigation interviews, note taking and producing findings tables.
- Audits: Conduct annual property HR Reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, labour laws, industry standards. Identify areas of improvement and support the hotels implement corrective actions.
- Liaison with External Partners: Coordinate with external partners such as insurance vendors e.g. BUPA, HostPlus and other providers e.g Rewards Gateway/Check Work Rights , to manage property employee benefits and systems.
- Compliance:Ensure all HR activities comply with labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- General Administrative Support: Assist the Senior Director HR in the efficient management of daily administrative matters including coordinating work with the office administrator.
