About the Role
Reporting to site leadership, the Safety & Training Coordinator will support the implementation of safety systems, training programs and workforce competency management to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Safety, Training or Workforce Development within mining, construction or heavy industry
- Knowledge of training and competency management systems
- Understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and practices
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to influence and engage with operational personnel
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
- Relevant safety qualifications advantageous
- Current Australian work rights
- Ability to meet site access and employment requirements

Coordinate site training, onboarding and competency management systems
Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation
Support safety initiatives, inspections and audits
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
Facilitate inductions and site-specific training programs
Monitor statutory training and refresher requirements
Promote a proactive safety culture across all work groups
Prepare reports, training matrices and compliance documentation
Support workforce mobilisation and contractor compliance processes
Liaise with operational leaders, employees and external training providers
