BAR ATTENDANT | Hamilton Island Golf Club

Hamilton Island Golf Club is seeking an experienced Bar Attendant to join our award-winning team. Home to Australia's only championship island golf course and a Chef Hat-awarded restaurant, this is an exciting opportunity for current Hamilton Island employees looking to further develop their hospitality skills in a premium food and beverage environment.

This role is ideal for team members with strong bar experience who are ready to challenge themselves in a fast-paced venue renowned for exceptional service, premium cocktails and high-quality barista coffee. Our busy morning service sees a high volume of coffee service each morning, making confident barista skills essential to success in this role.

Your Role

As a Bar Attendant, you'll deliver exceptional beverage service across our busy clubhouse bar. Your mornings will focus on producing consistently high-quality barista coffee during our peak breakfast and lunch service, before transitioning into premium cocktail, wine and beverage service throughout the day. You'll create memorable guest experiences while maintaining the exceptional standards Hamilton Island Golf Club is known for.

Where you'll make an impact

• Produce consistently high-quality barista coffee during busy breakfast and lunch service

• Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wines, beers and spirits

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar

• Recommend beverages with confidence and strong product knowledge

• Process guest orders and payments accurately

• Work closely with the restaurant team to deliver seamless service

• Uphold RSA, food safety and venue presentation standards

To be successful, you will need:

• Current employment with Hamilton Island

• Previous bar experience is essential

• Strong barista skills with the ability to confidently manage a high-volume coffee service

• Confident cocktail-making skills

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service

• Ability to perform under pressure in a busy service environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Current RSA Certificate
