About the Role We are seeking experienced Transmission Lines Project Engineers to join our growing delivery team as our portfolio of transmission infrastructure projects continues to expand across New South Wales and Queensland. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure projects, supporting the transition to a more sustainable energy future. Working in a dynamic and complex construction environment, you will lead the planning and delivery of tower erection, stringing and associated transmission line construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from tender development through to execution and commissioning, while collaborating closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors and delivery partners. Travel and working away from home will be required during project delivery, with applicable uplift and Living Away From Home Allowance (LAHA) provided. Key responsibilities include: Deliver transmission line construction projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, commercial performance and schedule outcomes. Develop and oversee tower erection and stringing methodologies, construction programs, staging plans and site delivery strategies. Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities Identifying and resolving technical issues related to stringing equipment, construction methods, and alignment tolerances. Developing program for the staging works, including staging and sequencing of construction activities. Provide technical leadership across transmission line construction activities, including temporary works, foundations, tower erection and conductor stringing. Manage project contracts, procurement activities, risk and opportunity management, stakeholder communications and project integration activities. Support commissioning and project close-out activities while maintaining quality documentation, inspection records and compliance requirements. About You You are a practical and accountable engineering professional who enjoys working in the field, solving complex construction challenges and delivering critical infrastructure projects safely and efficiently. You bring sound technical judgement, collaborate effectively with delivery teams, and thrive in environments where ownership, resilience and decision-making are valued. To be successful, you will demonstrate: A degree qualification in Engineering and experience delivering projects within utilities, infrastructure or construction environments, particularly on high-voltage transmission assets. Experience with overhead transmission line construction, including tower erection, stringing or associated civil, structural or electrical scopes. Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, including design management, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. The ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams while managing competing priorities and demanding project schedules.
