Fixed Term - 12 months Full-time: 30.4 hours per fortnight Classification: Managers and Administrative Workers Grade 1 Location: Alfred Health Staff benefits The Department The Bariatric Surgery Registry is an initiative of the Australian and New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgical Society (ANZMOSS) with the current custodian Monash University. The core purpose of the Registry is to document longitudinally the outcomes of bariatric surgery. The Registry provides confidence to surgeons, funders, hospitals and the wider community that bariatric surgery is safe and is achieving improvement in health outcomes to patients at a population level. The Role The BSR Administrative Assistant provides general administrative and data entry support to the Bariatric Surgery Registry team based at the Alfred Centre, Melbourne. Skills and Experience Essential Relevant experience and/or education/training in a health-related setting. Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated capacity to work independently and cooperatively and collaboratively in a team; Desirable Relevant experience in administration in the Health sector. Demonstrated knowledge of the structure and operation of a large University and the placement of a Registry within this organisation. Key Capabilities Enter data into BSRi. Enter data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for record-keeping and analysis.
