What you'll be doing
Looking to build a career in project and program management? This role puts you right at the centre of one of NSW Health's leading out-of-hospital care transformation programs.

This is an exciting time to come onboard Western Sydney Local Health District, Integrated and Community Health whereby we are pioneering technology enabled community healthcare towards NSW Future Health strategic objectives.

You'll get hands-on exposure to real program governance, stakeholder coordination, tracker and reporting tools, and cross-service pathway design in a fast-moving healthcare innovation environment. It's an ideal launchpad for someone who wants to progress from administrative support into a project management career. You'll have the opportunity to build your skills and understand how complex health programs are planned, delivered, and embedded across a large health service.


You'll be a strong fit if you:

Are highly organised and comfortable juggling competing priorities

Have sharp attention to detail (trackers, minutes, reporting, scheduling)

Communicate clearly with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders

Are curious about program/project management and want to grow into it

Enjoy Strong skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project or similar

Selection Criteria:

1. Previous Experience: Demonstrated experience in administration and/or project support roles within a complex environment.

3. Teamwork and Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment, supporting dynamic projects and diverse stakeholders.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation, liaise with health professionals, managers, administrative staff, and consumers.

5. Time Management and Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage workflow, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. Stakeholder Engagement in Health Settings: Demonstrated experience communicating and working with management, clinicians, and external stakeholders in a complex health environment.

7. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Electronic Records Management systems (e.g., Content Manager). Familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.

8. Problem-Solving and Initiative: Ability to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate initiative, and apply problem-solving skills while working autonomously.
