About the role

UGL are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters for the Chevron - Barrow Island CO2 Project.

The Gorgon LNG facility incorporates the world's largest CCS system. Naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken from offshore gas reservoirs and injected into a sandstone bedrock formation two kms beneath Barrow Island, where it remains permanently trapped. As part of the UGL Co2 Project team, you will play a key role in the delivery of a high profile, pioneering project.

  • 12-hour days
  • Hourly rate penalties site allowances

  • Estimated duration of 24 months

About You

  • Trade Certificate - (Mechanical Fitter)
  • Previous Oil & Gas experience
  • Construction White Card
  • Working at Heights - mandatory
  • Confined Space - desirable
  • Demonstrate First attack Firefighting (CPPFES2005)
