Australia: Clerical Leader - Brisbane Temple
The Temple Department is seeking to appoint a Clerical Leader. This is a permanent full-time position located at the Brisbane Australia Temple, and the successful candidate will be required to work from this location. This position reports to the Temple Recorder.
The purpose of the position is to ensure the purity and accurate recording of temple ordinances for worthy Church members. Maintains temple operations to First Presidency standards and supports temple management in providing a positive experience for patrons. Ensures courteous service and precise ordinance recording in line with temple procedures.
Two years of college and two years of experience with temple computer systems, Family History, or related fields, or equivalent education and experience.
Supervisory skills with the ability to work well with people and motivate them to be accurate.
Strong interpersonal skills and a pleasing personality.
Willingness to develop and implement new ideas for improvement.
Flexibility in work schedule and ability to handle confidential information.
Capability to acquire knowledge and experience to resolve issues with the computerized recording system.

Handle complex member and ordinance record inquiries, including verification, research, and resolution of discrepancies.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise clerical employees serving in temple office functions.
Organize and manage temple office operations, including recording functions, administrative processes, and the training and supervision of clerical employees and temple workers who assist in the work of the temple.
Review ordinance records, audit reports, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Monitor temple recording systems, troubleshoot recording issues, oversee data corrections, and manage lost or stolen recommend reporting processes.
Perform other administrative and office support duties as needed to ensure the effective operation of the temple office.
