What does the job look like?
We currently have two full-time permanent opportunities located at our Acacia Ridge site, with work schedules listed below:
- Monday - Friday from 5:00am - 1:00pm
- Thursday - Monday (Saturdays & Sundays starting at 5:00am, with flexibility of start times across the weekdays)
- Allocate container movements across company drivers and subcontractors to ensure customer commitments and operational priorities are met
- Build strong relationships with drivers and customers through timely updates, proactive communication, and effective problem-solving
- Manage transport documentation, manifests, and scheduling records to maintain accuracy, compliance, and service quality
- Monitor daily transport performance, responding to operational challenges and escalating safety or service issues when required
- Coordinate contractor compliance requirements and fleet maintenance activities to maximise fleet availability
- Contribute to operational excellence through KPI reporting, process improvements, and a strong commitment to safety outcomes
Are you the one?
- Experience in transport or logistics operations, with exposure to allocating, scheduling, dispatch, or operational planning activities
- Rail transport experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential
- Sound understanding of transport compliance obligations, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and heavy vehicle legislation
- Strong systems capability with experience using transport management systems, fleet technology, and reporting tools
- Proven ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
