Can you spare just ONE HOUR per week to become a Social Volunteer? Just one hour a week can make a real difference.<\/b>
<\/p>

We're seeking a friendly, reliable volunteer to spend one on one time with a lovely lady who lives at home and enjoys great conversation about your shared interests.<\/b>

What you'll do<\/b>

• Enjoy relaxed chats about gardening, plants and produce

• Enjoy watching a movie and doing crosswords or puzzles together
  <\/p><\/li>\n

• Offer companionship, conversation, and connection

  • Warm, patient, and a good listener

    \n Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

    Requirements<\/h3>\n

    \n 18 years or older National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
    \n <\/div>\n

    \n One hour visits for 6 months or longer between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.
