Your Role

As a Commis Chef at Pool Terrace Resturant, you'll work both individually and as a member of a cohesive team to provide consistently high standards of food quality and production, whilst adhering to Hamilton Island Resort's product standards and specifications.

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Prepare and bake high-quality bread, pastry, and baked goods from scratch.
• Support daily high-volume production for both retail and restaurant service.
• Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production schedules and daily targets.

What We're Looking For

You're a passionate Commis chef who takes pride in your craft and works well in a fast-paced team environment. You're reliable, efficient, and dedicated to consistently producing quality food

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

• Trade certificate in Retail/Baking combined or in patisserie through TAFE, or equivalent (Essential)
• Minimum one year experience as a Commis chef in an international hotel, restaurant, or reputable commercial kitchen (Essential)
• Through knowledge and experience of volume production (Desirable)
• International experience (Desirable)
