Wood is recruiting for an Instrumentation & Electrical Planner to join the Woodside offshore planning team, on a permanent basis.

Point of Hire:

  • Docklands or Longford or Sale or Hastings (Long Island Point)

Requirements:

  • Instrumentation & Electrical trade qualification
  • Proficient in utilizing SAP for maintenance planning and execution
  • Experience within a similar or related industry
  • Knowledge of relevant discipline and industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and best practices
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans for instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operational personnel to ensure efficient execution of work plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update electrical and instrumentation diagrams as needed
  • Review SAP notifications and evaluate Risk Based Work Selection for work order processing
  • Conduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work
  • Plan in SAP maintenance work orders and work packs with tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, and other services required to execute the work
  • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance work orders, ensuring statutory testing and compliance is maintained
  • Reserve all stock materials, identify part numbers, and provide information required for the purchase of non-stock items
  • Attend and engage in Planning & Scheduling meetings
  • Take feedback on work completion and continually improve information for future work - create job-specific task lists and update critical Bill of Material lists
  • Manage the development and control of budgets
  • Demonstrate a proactive role in identifying safety improvements
  • Provide proactive, constructive, and innovative input to enhance current practices
