Privacy & Responsible AI Manager

You will work with cross-functional teams across multiple regions to embed privacy and ethical AI principles into products, services, and business initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will ensure compliance with evolving global regulations while enabling innovation and responsible data use. The position combines strategic governance with hands-on risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. Accountabilities:
As the Privacy & Responsible AI Manager, you will lead privacy and AI governance initiatives while partnering with global stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and promote responsible innovation.
- Advise business leaders and cross-functional teams on privacy, Responsible AI, and data governance best practices.
- Embed Privacy by Design and Responsible AI principles into products, business processes, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), AI Risk Assessments, and privacy governance activities.
- Manage privacy assessment workflows and compliance processes using OneTrust.
- Collaborate with regional teams to implement global privacy standards while addressing local regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Cyber Security, Legal, Product, HR, Finance, and other business functions to integrate privacy and AI governance into risk management processes.
- Provide guidance on privacy compliance across areas including digital marketing, AdTech, cookie management, consumer IoT, HR systems, finance, big data, and AI-enabled services.
- Support the investigation, reporting, and remediation of personal data breaches while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Continuously improve privacy governance frameworks, policies, processes, and best practices across the organization.
- Monitor evolving privacy and AI regulations to help maintain ongoing compliance and governance maturity.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings extensive expertise in privacy, data protection, and Responsible AI, along with strong stakeholder management skills and experience operating within complex global organizations.
- Proven experience in Privacy, Data Protection, Data Governance, or a related governance role, ideally within telecommunications or another highly regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and broader European privacy legislation.
- Working knowledge of the EU AI Act and emerging Responsible AI regulatory frameworks.
- Solid understanding of global privacy regulations and their application across products, services, and business operations.
- Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), AI Risk Assessments, and broader privacy compliance activities.
- Hands-on experience using OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms.
- Strong understanding of Privacy by Design principles and enterprise data governance practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with experience managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
