Overview

Gallagher Bassett's Eligibility Team is responsible for determining the outcome of newly lodged workers' compensation claims.

You’ll be a trusted leader in our team with a view to lead your team to success through day to day workflow and people management.


How you'll make an impact

  • Managing your team's daily workflow in order to achieve effective team output and maintain high client service standards
  • Displaying effective and engaging leadership, and providing coaching and feedback to staff on technical, business and performance related issues
  • Engaging and building a strong relationship with portfolio of corporate clients in a proactive manner to discuss claims strategies and address areas of concern
  • Working with Branch Manager to identify staff skills/knowledge gaps in order to implement tailored training plans
  • Working alongside your Branch Manager to develop and cultivate strong team morale based on a service orientated culture; ensuring a dedicated and team-based approach to the management of claims
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, and encouraging creativity, risk-taking and continuous improvement within the team
  • Identifying any areas for improvement and implementing strategies and processes to ensure GB's services meet business and WorkSafe requirements

About you

  • Experience within a People Management role, outstanding leadership skills and experience in coaching and mentoring staff
  • Experience within a client services or account management position
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation industry performance measures
  • Interpersonal skills with all levels of staff and external parties
  • Time management and conflict resolution skills
