We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality medication management and clinical pharmacy services. You will thrive in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, possess strong communication and organisational skills, and be eager to contribute to medication safety, patient education, continuous quality improvement, and the ongoing development of pharmacy services within a busy hospital setting.
You will be successful in this role if you:
- Have a strong commitment to safe and effective medication management, including medication reconciliation, medication order review, and optimising patient therapy outcomes.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing timely drug information and counselling to patients, carers, and clinical staff.
- Can maintain accuracy and attention to detail while dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policy requirements.
- Are adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous learning, quality improvement activities, and staying current with evolving medications, treatment protocols, and clinical practices.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Current unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA, with demonstrated clinical pharmacy knowledge and the ability to apply evidence-based practice in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, and deliver high-quality pharmacy services in a busy environment.
- A commitment to teamwork, quality improvement, and professional development, including the ability to contribute to education, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience and sound drug knowledge, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice to optimise medication therapy, minimise medication-related risks, and improve patient outcomes.
