ABOUT THE ROLE
The Insights Analyst is responsible for turning customer voice and behavioural data into actionable insights that uncover growth opportunities and support data-driven decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders, they design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, interviews and focus groups, while leveraging internal and external data sources to build a deep understanding of customer needs, attitudes and behaviours.
Through in-depth analysis of transactional, behavioural and digital data, the Insights Analyst identifies trends, evaluates growth initiatives and uncovers customer segments that drive engagement and conversion. They communicate insights in a clear and compelling way, champion innovative approaches to customer intelligence, and ensure all research and data activities comply with governance, privacy and security requirements.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in customer insights, research, or data analysis
Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis
Survey design and management tools (e.g. SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics) Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Not essential but would be beneficial - Python, R, Machine Learning applications, BI tools
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration
Excellent storytelling and data visualisation skills
Analytical mindset with curiosity and problem-solving ability
Exposure to both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Experience in retail, eCommerce, or customer-focused industries is preferred
