Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant. You will be focusing on financial accounting across all brands in Atkore.

What you’ll do:

• Reconciliation of sub ledgers
• Reconciliation of fixed assets
• Bank, accruals and prepayments
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Monitor P&L allocations
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Ensure adequate audit trails are maintained
• Bank administration - ensure that the division has adequate controls and software support

What you’ll bring:

• CA/ CPA qualified or studying towards these qualifications.
• Exposure to Hyperion financial reporting.
• Up to date knowledge of current and proposed accounting standards.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete your Atkore immersion program.
• Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
• Gain an understanding of the accounting process.

Within 6-months, you’ll:

• Have a better understanding of the accounting process
• Built efficiencies in your role
• Have a solid understanding of accounting transactions

Within 12-months, you’ll:

• Work effectively and efficiently in the Finance Department
• Ability to work autonomously
• Manage audits when needed
• Be an OHS Champion
