You will work closely with executive and operational stakeholders to solve complex asset management challenges, support strategic decision-making and deliver practical, value-driven outcomes. You will also contribute to business development, mentor emerging consultants and help drive technical excellence across our practice.

What you'll do

  • Lead and deliver complex strategic asset management and advisory projects across a range of infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop asset management strategies, frameworks, operating models, maturity assessments and improvement programs.
  • Provide trusted advice to executive, operational and technical stakeholders.
  • Manage project delivery including scope, budget, quality and client expectations.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat and new business.
  • Contribute to proposals, bids and business development activities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members while helping build capability across the business.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Australia, New Zealand and WSP's global network.

What we'll love about you

You are an experienced infrastructure or asset management professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness and client-facing consulting experience. You enjoy solving complex problems, building relationships and helping organisations improve the performance of their assets and services.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Approximately 10-15 years' experience in strategic asset management, asset maintenance, infrastructure advisory, asset investment planning or related consulting roles.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering advisory projects within transport, energy, mining, water, facilities or other asset-intensive sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles and frameworks, including ISO 55000.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations to executive audiences.
  • Proven project management and project delivery capability.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth and client development.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • A relevant degree qualification in engineering, asset management, business, infrastructure, economics or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CAMA, CPAM, IAM Certificate, IAM Diploma or equivalent will be highly regarded.

What we'll offer you

WSP offers a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing environment where you can make a genuine impact while continuing to grow your career.

You'll benefit from:

  • The opportunity to influence major infrastructure and asset management decisions across Australia.
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of strategic advisory projects.
  • Opportunities to lead client engagements and contribute to business growth.
  • Collaboration with industry-leading specialists across Australia and WSP's global network.
  • Flexible working arrangements and a strong commitment to wellbeing.
  • Clear pathways for career progression and leadership development.
  • A culture that values technical excellence, innovation and collaboration.
