  • Occupational Therapist Level 1: $1,522.06 - $1,778.52 per week

  • Occupational Therapist Level 2: $1,896.10 - $2,171.40 per week

In addition to base salary, all roles attract 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Join the Post Acute Rehabilitation Service (PARS), a supportive multidisciplinary team that provides occupational therapy services to patients requiring rehabilitation and ongoing therapy following discharge from hospital.

  • This Level 1/2 Occupational Therapist position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including patients' homes, outpatient clinics and group rehabilitation programs, delivering individualised, patient-centred care that supports recovery, independence, and participation in meaningful activities.
  • The role includes conducting home visits, facilitating outpatient rehabilitation groups and providing individual assessment and intervention for a diverse caseload.
  • You will receive regular supervision and professional support from an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist, making this an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills in rehabilitation.
  • Experience or an interest in neurological rehabilitation is highly desirable, and you will be part of a team that values collaboration, continuous learning and evidence-based practice to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

The ideal candidate demonstrates the following:

  • A passion for rehabilitation and supporting patients to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Confidence in conducting home visits, facilitating group programs and delivering individual therapy interventions.
  • Experience or a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

  1. Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education.
  6. Demonstrated clinical experience in Neuro Rehabilitation.
  7. Do you have a current Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2)? if you hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
