Volunteer - Albury

Are you considering Lutheran Aged Care as a place to offer your time as a Volunteer?

You MUST:

• be able to pass a Volunteer NDIS worker Screening Check. (Free) This needs to be repeated every 5 years.
• Not be listed on the Aged Care or NDIS banning register.
• Be vaccinated with at least 3x Covid vaccinations, and the yearly flu vax.

Although we are run under the Auspice of the Lutheran Church of Australia, you are not required to be a member or even hold a Christian faith. We simply ask that you uphold our values of

We have 3 Residential facilities.

• (Albury) Dellacourt: 121 Beds in 6 Wings. 24 beds being Memory Unit.
• (Albury) Yallaroo: 60 beds in 4 wings. 30 Beds being Memory Unit
• (The Rock) Emily Gardens: 30 beds in 2 wings. 15 beds being Memory Unit

Each facility has multiple teams whose varied roles are there to support our residents' lives. When you volunteer, you will be assisting the Lifestyle team. You are welcome to work in either one, two or all our facilities. We have a volunteer who comes in once a month for a 1-hour performance, and one who comes in 8 hours every day because they have forgotten they are retired. We do not mind how much time you donate, so long as you are consistent.
