About the role

As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create clear, usercentred digital content that makes a real difference to people's lives. You'll work across highprofile, hightraffic NSW Health websites, turning complex information into simple, accessible and engaging content.

Working with stakeholders across NSW Health and other NSW Government agencies, you will influence how content is structured, delivered and improved. Using data, customer insights and your expertise, you'll continuously refine content to enhance usability and findability. If you're passionate about combining writing, data and problemsolving to deliver meaningful outcomes at scale - this role is for you.

Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $116,981 - $129,492 per annum plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you will be doing

• Creating clear, accessible and engaging content that helps users find and understand health information quickly.
• Use analytics and user insights to improve content performance and the user experience.
• Lead or contribute to content audits and restructuring to simplify and modernise websites.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver highquality content across multiple digital projects.
• Publish and manage content in CMS platforms following governance and best practice.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

• Proven experience creating highquality, usercentred and inclusive content for websites.
• Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG), plain English and SEO principles.
• Confidence using CMS platforms such as Drupal, SharePoint and Squiz Matrix.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities, problem solve and deliver within a project environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
