You will be providing efficient, safe health care to patients in General Medicine, under the supervision of senior medical practitioners while developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment.
An applicant can expect to gain experience in General Medicine with a good case mix of patients. Subspecialty services are also included and offer another avenue to improve a candidate's experience and learning.

  1. Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role
  2. Adept ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including the sharing of appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services
  3. Adept ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
  4. Adept verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to vary communication style in line with the understanding of the needs of diverse audiences
  5. Adept ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to meet changing situations in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment
  6. Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the area of intensive care medicine
  7. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
