About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join our Aged Care Assessment Service team. In this role you will support the efficient and effective delivery of Single Service Assessments by the Clinical and Non-Clinical MLHD Assessment Team, providing administrative and clerical services to Aged Care Management and Assessors across the district.
As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Prioritising, managing and allocating referrals via My Aged Care to appropriate assessors, with consideration given to Key Performance Indicators, geographical location and assessor availability.
- Scheduling assessments on behalf of assessors, ensuring completion of Home Risk Assessments, and liaising with residential aged care facilities to coordinate AN-ACC assessment schedules and logistics.
- Accurate data entry, spreadsheet applications and updating of electronic medical records.
- Assisting clients, staff and service providers with inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated successful experience as an Administrative Officer in the public or private health sector, preferably Aged Care.
- Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated high-level computer literacy across all MS Office programs, with accurate data entry skills.
- An ability to work as part of a busy multidisciplinary team, and independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven time management skills, ability to work under pressure and experience working within KPIs.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required for work purposes.
- Ability to obtain an Aged Care Police Check and meet Vaccination Category B requirements.
