Counsellor, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker Level 3: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour
Senior Psychologist: $62.52- $67.75 per hour

What you will bring to the role
- Occupational Therapist: Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent recognised by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist. Social Worker: Degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Senior Psychologist: Degree in Psychology with full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with no less than 12 months service at the 9th year of service and thereafter rate. Counsellor: Minimum AQF level 7 qualification recognised or accredited by the Peak Body (PACFA) with eligibility for membership as a counsellor with PACFA
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision to develop and deliver innovative practice models
- Understanding of the psychosocial factors associated with rural adversity that contribute to poorer mental health outcomes for individuals, families and communities, with ability to deliver effective relevant psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop interagency partnerships and cooperatively develop referral pathways to promote access to a range of services and supports.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and knowledge and skills to provide supervision to students, psychologists or level 1/2 allied health.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and deliver results in an environment of competing demands.
- Current drivers' licence and willingness to travel to rural sites in NBMLHD to provide an outreach service and/or provision of clinical services.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
