In order to be eligible to apply for this role, you must be a NSW Ministry of Health ongoing employee with at least 12 months consecutive service. This is a temporary assignment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your Manager to be released from your usual duties for the period.
About this role
The Senior Project Officer works within the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Clinical Governance and Systems team, to ensure services are high-quality, person-centred, and aligned with policy, clinical standards, and system priorities. The team leads a number of state-wide initiatives to support the delivery of AOD treatment across NSW.
We are seeking an experienced program or project lead with excellent stakeholder communication skills and policy writing skills to support high priority program areas.
Where you'll be working
The Clinical Governance and Systems team within the Centre for Alcohol and Other Drugs takes an innovative and person-centred approach to our work. Our team of 5 is a high-performing and supportive team, providing opportunities for growth, development across a number of interesting projects. The role provides opportunities to make meaningful change for people accessing AOD services in NSW.
The position is based at Ministry's 1RR building.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $133,348 - $146,945 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
What you'll be doing
Lead systems improvement programs to advance quality and safety outcomes aligned with the Future Health Strategy.
Support community pharmacy partnerships to support and provide NSW Health programs, supporting resource development and integration of regulatory frameworks into practice.
High level secretariat and clinical governance support
