About the Opportunity
Join the Paediatric Ward at Griffith Base Hospital and make a real difference in the lives of children and their families. As a Registered Nurse, you'll deliver compassionate, family-centred care to infants, children and adolescents while working in a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to providing safe, evidence-based care.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
- Provide high-quality, family-centred nursing care to paediatric patients.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Recognise and respond to changes in a child's condition, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Support children and families through education, advocacy and shared decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with paediatricians and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to safe discharge planning, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- A commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, family-centred care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning, patient safety and quality improvement.
