About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, planning, performance and data. You'll contribute to the delivery of Council-wide planning processes, develop meaningful performance insights that inform executive decision-making, and help shape how one of Victoria's largest councils measures and reports on its success. Working across the organisation, you'll build strong relationships, facilitate workshops, improve reporting systems and make a tangible contribution to outcomes for the Casey community.

What you'll do

You'll help shape how Council plans, measures and reports on its performance. Working across the organisation, you'll support strategic planning processes, develop meaningful performance insights and deliver reporting that informs decision-making.

You'll collaborate with stakeholders to drive integrated planning outcomes, facilitate workshops, support major planning and budgeting activities, and continuously improve Council's planning and performance reporting systems.

What you'll bring

You're an analytical and collaborative professional who can turn data into insights and build strong relationships across a complex organisation. You enjoy working with stakeholders, improving systems and contributing to better organisational outcomes.

You'll have:

  • Experience in strategic planning, performance reporting or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience preparing performance and/or statutory reports
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of performance measurement and reporting practices
  • Experience with Power BI, CAMMS, Excel and Word (desirable)
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Psychometric Testing, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio) delete what is not applicable
