We're Hiring: Hospital Food Services Assistants
Location: Angliss Hospital, Upper Ferntree Gully
Employment Type: Casual with permanent Part Time opportunities
With people and relationships being the centre of all that we do, be a part of something big. Our ISS Healthcare Team are seeking Food Service Assistants to join the team to provide and facilitate the delivery of superior food to patients.
The role:
- Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
- Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
- Cleaning and sanitising of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
- Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
- Flexibility to work early and late (AM/PM) shifts including across weekends and public holidays

Minimum Criteria:
- Right to work in Australia
- Current Food Safety Certificate is required
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, the environment and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to deliver a high level of customer service
Compliance Requirements to be met:
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain, no older than 12 months is essential
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain, is essential
- Influenza vaccination within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain, is essential
