We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded property developer seeking a Senior Development Manager to oversee the delivery of landmark residential communities across Queensland. This is an opportunity to join an established, well-funded organisation where you'll have genuine influence over projects from acquisition through to completion while leading and mentoring a high-performing development team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will take ownership of multiple developments at various stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while providing leadership and technical guidance to a team of Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale residential development projects from acquisition through to completion.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, feasibility outcomes and reporting.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and statutory authorities.
• Oversee planning, design, approvals and construction phases.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local councils and service authorities.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Development Managers.
• Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to keep developments progressing.
• Ensure projects achieve commercial, programme and quality objectives.

About You

You are an experienced Development Manager with a proven track record delivering significant residential or mixed-use developments and are comfortable leading multiple projects and mentoring others.

Ideally, you will have:

• Degree qualifications in Property, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Extensive development management experience delivering projects valued at $50 million or more.
• Strong understanding of Queensland planning and development processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing project teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage multiple developments simultaneously.
