About the role This is a 12 months fixed term VPS 6.1 role with a salary banding of $142,790 - $166,938 + 12% Super. The Technical Specialist will work on complex level project activities and will have the responsibility of ensuring that high level design principles and standards are maintained, and projects are delivered on time. The role sits within the Network & Design implementation team which has a strong focus on ensure the Data Centre network technologies are reliable and robust. As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the ability to carry out the following: Work on the Design and implementation of Complex Data Centre Network infrastructure and Customer LAN/WAN projects. Deliver high level customer service to internal and external clients Assist the NOC by participating in the On-call Support roster. Ideally you will have expertise and experience working within: Data Centre Switching & Routing specifically Cisco IOS/NX-OS/ Routing protocols including MPLS EVPN, VXLAN, SD WAN, wireless Software Defined Networking Cisco ACI Citrix NetScaler ADC and F5 Load Balancing Experience in Juniper SRX , Cisco ASA , Checkpoint, Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls Cloud networking including AWS, Azure and OCI integration with on-premises environments Cisco Wireless and Cisco ISE/Prime/DNA/CMX/MSE exposure Some knowledge of Programming (Python/Ansible) and network automation The role would suite and experienced Networks Specialist who is collaborative, likes having varied challenging work and can enrich our customers experience.
