About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and commercially driven Implant Solutions Specialistto join the Straumann Group team and support the continued growth of our implant solutions portfolio across an assigned territory.
This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships and driving territory growth through strategic account management, product education and high-quality customer support.
Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, senior leadership, sales, marketing and internal support teams, the Implant Solutions Specialist will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving agreed sales and market growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
The Implant Solutions Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing, managing and growing sales across an assigned geographic territory
- Identifying, researching and acquiring new customer opportunities to increase market share
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers to support account growth and customer retention
- Promoting and supporting the Straumann Group implant portfolio, as well as other products and solutions carried by the organisation
- Preparing territory action plans, customer call schedules and quarterly business plans to support sales activity and growth objectives
- Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate products, solutions and services
- Monitoring territory performance and adapting sales activities to ensure quarterly sales targets and key objectives are achieved
- Using CRM, sales dashboards and reporting tools to maintain accurate records and prepare territory reports as required
- Communicating customer feedback, market insights, product opportunities and competitor activity to relevant internal stakeholders
- Providing product training, education and support to customers in the use and maintenance of products and equipment
- Planning and delivering Straumann Group information and referral events in line with agreed KPIs and manager guidance
- Attending and actively participating in national, regional and state-based sales meetings, Straumann Group and ITI events, conferences and relevant industry activities
- Travelling within the assigned territory and interstate as required for customer engagement, training, events and conference support
- Undertaking regional support responsibilities from time to time, including support for the Regional Sales Manager where required
- Performing other duties reasonably assigned by the organisation
About you
The successful candidate will be a professional, relationship-focused and results-driven sales specialist with the ability to manage a territory strategically and execute with discipline.
You will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with dental professionals, internal teams and key stakeholders.
You will also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in sales, account management or territory management, ideally within dental, medical device, healthcare or a related industry
- A strong understanding of customer relationship management and business development
- The ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies and deliver measurable results
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Confidence in presenting, educating and supporting customers
- A collaborative and professional approach to working with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales dashboards and reporting tools
- A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset
- A willingness to travel as required
