Senior Technical Lead (Signature/ICBS) - Sydney or Gold Coast

What's the role?

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead to support and enhance Signature (previously known as ICBS), a critical lending platform that supports Westpac's Personal Loans business.

This is a highly specialised role that combines technical leadership, solution design, production support and change delivery. You'll be responsible for ensuring the platform remains stable, secure and fit for future growth, while partnering with engineers, stakeholders and vendors to deliver enhancements, upgrades and operational improvements.

You'll also act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on complex challenges and helping shape the future direction of the platform.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Sydney or the Gold Coast.

What do I need?

• Experience working with Signature (formerly ICBS) or a similar lending platform within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong technical expertise across AS400 and RPG, with experience supporting and enhancing critical enterprise applications.
• Experience designing and delivering technical solutions, including solution design, technical specifications and application enhancements.
• Strong understanding of production support, application maintenance, operational resilience and change delivery within complex environments.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and influence solution outcomes, while working collaboratively across technical and business teams.
• Experience with Control-M, Jira, Confluence and Agile delivery practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a range of audiences
