About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Escalator and Elevator Technician to join our Melbourne team.

Reporting to the Service Manager and supported by the Duty Manager, you will play a critical role in keeping our equipment running smoothly. You will be responsible for minimising breakdowns and ensuring optimal performance, helping to deliver safe, reliable transport systems when they matter most.

This is a hands-on role involving the maintenance of both escalators and elevators. With a strong focus on proactive servicing and rapid response, you will ensure all equipment operates at peak performance throughout the shift.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing during night operations
  • Maintain clear communication with on-site contacts regarding arrival, progress, and job completion
  • Identify safety risks and take appropriate action, including shutting down equipment when required
  • Recommend improvements and component upgrades to enhance performance and reliability

What we are looking for:

  • Current electrical licence
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisation and ability to perform under pressure
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and compliance
