We're looking for a hands-on, safety-focused Terminal Operations Coordinator to support the safe, efficient and reliable running of our Forrestfield and Kewdale terminals. In this role, you'll coordinate the movement of reach stackers, trucks, train operations and loading plans.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading daily terminal operations and resource allocation
  • Coordinating operational train loading plans to optimise access to priority freight and improve terminal turnaround times
  • Providing detailed operational communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Performing train pre-departure verifications to ensure network compliance
  • Ensuring safe handling of Dangerous Goods and compliance with WHS standards
  • Overseeing maintenance schedules for terminal plant and equipment
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and customers

About the role:

Based at Forrestfield / Kewdale, this role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient and reliable coordination of daily terminal operations. You will work closely with terminal teams, rail crews, contractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate people, plant and equipment, support compliance requirements, and help maintain strong operational performance in a busy freight environment.

About you:

  • Previous frontline coordination and leadership experience in large-scale logistics or heavy industry will be highly regarded
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure, make sound decisions and keep operations flowing smoothly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Frontline Management, Leadership or equivalent
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers and the Microsoft Office suite
