Vendor Management Manager - AU/EU/US
Vendor Management Manager:
The Vendor Management Manager will act as the primary point of contact for Novotech for project-related vendor management across the company. Establish and maintain vendor database, including vendor CDAs/MSAs. Communicate with project teams to assist in identification of appropriate vendors to meet study requirements. Assist in obtaining quotes for proposals for BD and vendor identification for awarded studies for PMs. Coordinate with QA ongoing gap analysis and prioritization for vendor assurance activities and obtain regular feedback on vendor performance for ongoing vendor assessment. Build vendor partnerships and negotiate preferred provider rates.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the NVT Project Managers to provide support with vendor selection for studies in line with study specific requirements and provide support in obtaining competitive quotes and contracting.
- Collaborate with Business Development (BD) group to coordinate information and quotes for new business opportunities.
- Negotiate standardised contract templates for approved vendors.
- Establish and maintain NVT vendor database.
- Develop vendor partnerships and negotiate preferred provider rates / volume discount.
- Act as first point of contact for Vendors at Novotech in relation to services offered.
- Monitor current industry trends, identify and highlight strategic solutions to management team. Serve as expert on industry best practices related to clinical trial vendors.
- Establish process and SOPs for vendor management in conjunction with QA and Project Management.
- Provide ongoing assessment and input regarding quality of deliverables and performance of vendors.
- Collaborate with Quality assurance team to perform gap analysis and prioritise and identify vendors for vendor assurance.
- Support the development of training and bid defence materials related to vendors.
- Understand the responsibilities of Novotech as a service provider in the pharmaceutical industry and ensure all communications with external parties and performance of the study team, presents a positive professional image of the company.
- Maintain compliance with ICH GCP Guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures and be quality minded in performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in a clinical or life sciences related field. Relevant experience/qualifications in allied professions may also be considered.
- At least 10 years' experience within the Pharma/CRO industry.
- Previous Project Manager or vendor management experience will be highly regarded.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, able to prioritise and have strong commercial awareness.
