The Role

The Analyst, Accounts Payable will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function within IFM's finance team. Working closely with the Associate Director, Accounts Payable, you will help ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments and reconciliations, while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies and delegations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes. In addition to supporting core AP operations, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives, system enhancements and automation projects that help drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner for payment.
  • Review and manage invoices through ApprovalPlus, including allocation and coding reviews.
  • Support vendor management activities, payment processing and bank reconciliations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for invoice and vendor-related queries across the business.
  • Maintain and enhance Accounts Payable processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation and system enhancement initiatives on a global scale.
  • Partner with colleagues across Finance and the broader business to deliver efficient and effective Accounts Payable services.

Your Background and Experience

  • 4+ years demonstrated experience in a similar AP or finance operations role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, payments and reconciliations.
  • Experience reviewing and processing high volumes of invoices with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong numerical and financial skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience working with finance systems; exposure to Coupa and/or NetSuite will be highly regarded.
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline will be viewed favourably.
