About the Role About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to support the delivery of the Central-West Orana project, one of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure programs. Working within a fast-paced and complex project environment, you will play a key role in the commercial administration of a major infrastructure contract, helping to ensure contractual obligations are met and commercial outcomes are effectively managed. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with project teams, subcontractors and our client, Transgrid, to administer contracts, manage variations and claims, monitor commercial performance and support project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure project while further developing your commercial and contract management expertise. Key Responsibilities Administer contractual mechanisms including notices, variations, payment claims, extensions of time and commercial correspondence. Support the management of subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements. Assist with the preparation, assessment and negotiation of contract variations, claims and commercial agreements. Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance, providing accurate reporting and insights to project stakeholders. Work closely with project delivery teams to identify and manage commercial risks, issues and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain contract records and documentation, ensuring effective governance and compliance with contractual requirements. Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. About You You are an experienced contracts professional who enjoys working closely with project teams to deliver successful outcomes. With strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving, you bring sound contract administration skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic project environment. To be successful, you'll demonstrate: Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, Commerce or a related discipline. Experience in a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator role within the construction, utilities, energy or infrastructure sectors. Strong experience managing contract administration activities, including variations, claims, payment applications and subcontract management. Working knowledge of construction contracts and commercial principles, ideally within major project environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships across project teams and contractors. A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Why Work With Us What we do matters.
