Make a real commercial impact across one of Cleanaway's largest regional portfolios, supporting branch managers, regional managers and partnering with state managers. The Commercial Manager will partner and offer subject matter expert guidance to the solids waste business to deliver profit improvement across our Collections Waste Services Business.
We are open to applicants from VIC, NSW and QLD. We offer hybrid work opportunities, and the chance to join a highperforming commercial finance team with strong leadership and longterm role stability.
Why this role matters
As a Commercial Manager, you'll provide datadriven insight that directly influences revenue, pricing, cost control and profitability across the SBU. You'll work closely with the CFM and Regional Management to shape commercial decisions that support our growth, service delivery, and longterm contract success.
Your work enables better pricing decisions, stronger regional performance and clearer financial visibility for leaders right across the business.
What you'll do
- Provide accurate, timely monthend insights and commercial analysis for regional leadership
- Partner with regional teams to build annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Improve price yield across the SBU through modelling, analysis and commercial recommendations
- Analyse volumes, rates, trends and cost drivers to support topline growth
- Deliver cost, margin, client profitability and lifecycle analysis to improve earnings quality
- Prepare pricing models and commercial documentation to support bids and contract management
- Lead and develop a team of CBP's
What you'll bring
- Experience leading Finance commercial management activity in a complex or multisite environment
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills
- Commercial environment, cost modeling and pricing, EOM.
- Strong stakeholder management leadership and negotiation skills
- Understanding of internal controls and financial governance
- Current CA or CPA qualification
- Working knowledge of business systems and process optimization
